Life is Good

Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a great day! It’s a little chilly today so I’m writing this article by a nice fire. My dog, Macey (incase you forgot her name), is sleeping on the couch. There’s a silence in my house that I don’t typically get to hear (or not hear I suppose). That’s where this article idea was born.

I feel that most of my articles show the constant struggle with confidence and self image or whatever struggle you have. I always reference the amazing experience you get when you beat your struggle and how you’ll love it. While it is an amazing experience I have, to this point, not shared much on that moment. The moment where you come alive, and turn into who you always should have been. Let’s change that!

If you’ve followed along with my articles to this point I’ve shared some stuff with you about my personal life. If you have not followed along, well go catch up! I’m only kidding, laugh a little. Whose the funny but serious guy (laugh here).. ME!

Anyways, my point is that you should know I have not always been confident. I felt small, weak, not important, and so on. It was awful. The constant teasing from peers, and even worse looking down on myself. I hated it, and I know those of you going through anything similar hate it too!

Right now let’s push all that crud (yeah I said crud) to the side, and look forward. See the big picture.

Here’s what that looks like. Everyday there becomes this happiness, from the moment you wake up until you fall asleep. It’s hard to fully describe, but you will just always have a reason to be smiling, because you made it through that struggle and came out a better person. You realize that you can really do anything. You have a new mindset and a new lifestyle. Everything is different in the best possible way.

My average day used to be wake up and dread the coming day. I would think “when can I go home and get in bed?” because I just did not want to participate. I didn’t feel like myself.

My average day now? I wake up at 8:30 (for a 19 year old that’s pretty good in my opinion!). I hangout with my pup and go to the gym. I come home and eat. I go to work and love my job. I come home and hangout, either alone with the pup, with my girlfriend, family, or with the bros (always need that bro time!). I eat dinner, check on my school work, check on my blog, check on my schedule for the next day. Then chill before bed.

Guess what? I love every minute of it! Every single day I am so happy to be where I am now. I know what life was before this, and I’m so thankful to have made it through and be able to see life in a different light.

Life on the other side of these struggles we face everyday is like a whole new world. All you have to do to get there is let yourself. You’re allowed to have that happiness, and I will always do what I can to help you get here. I want to bring as many people into this same mindset as I can. I want as many people as I can to follow into this paradise that is life.

Your life is not defined by your struggle. Be Kool-Aid man and smash through your walls! I really love that reference cause it makes me laugh (I’m laughing as I write it.)

Serious side now for a second. Life does have dark times, but we can choose to let there be light. Honestly, it can be really hard to let that light in. That’s okay too, but don’t give up. I have complete faith in all of you. I know whatever each individual is experiencing, that you can make it out the other end, an even better and more amazing person than you already were.

Picture that immense happiness, believe you can get it, and in time you will. I promise you that. I think it is hard for some people to see just how bright their future is, because there’s so much potential that it blinds them. However, you have to throw on some shades and take a look, because you don’t want to miss out on what life has to offer.

I hope that this article shows you what the end goal looks like. That is shows you where you can be if you believe you can. That it shows you life is good.

I’m so thankful for everyone that has followed along, and even more thankful for your feedback. Knowing these articles are making connections brings the biggest smile to my face. It means so much to me.

Have an amazing day everyone, and look forward to your blindingly bright futures!
